Calgary Chinese Community Stampede Parade Float

Over 70 volunteers from Calgary Chinese Community participated in the Stampede Parade on the community parade float which comprised of drums, flag dancers, lions and dragon. The community float also generated awareness of Chinatown 100th anniversary in the community of Calgary.
This year the Calgary Chinese Community float was awarded the "Best Overall Parade Entry - President's Trophy" and "Best Cultural Entry Trophy" by the Calgary Stampede.
