Calgary Chinatown Centennial Celebration Kick-off Parade

The Parade followed a 1.2 km route starting from the Daqing Square, west of the Chinese Cultural Centre, and ended at the east side of the Chinese Cultural Centre as illustrated below.

Over 30 associations, organizations from the Chinese community and other ethnic groups signed up for the Parade, among them are the Canadian Navy which also celebrates its 100 years, and the Royal Canadian Air Force.
