On the day of the "Mid-Autumn Day Festival", the Chinatown Showdown - Mayoral Candidate Forum at the Regency Palace Restaurant in Chinatown, Calgary hosted by Todd Gallant of Global Television. Approximately 150 community leaders, business leaders and others from the community and 11 media channels attended on September 22, 2010.
The Mayoral Candidates who participated in the program were Barry Erskine, Bob Hawksworth, Joe Connelly, Jon Lord, Naheed Nenshi, Oscar Fech, Ric McIver and Wayne Stuart. Appearance made by Craig Burrows.
Those who didn't attend were Amanda Liu, Barb Higgins, Bonnie Devine, Dan Knight, Gary Johnston, and Sandra Hunter.
