Volunteers
The Chinatown Street Festival Committee is looking for individuals who are interested in volunteering at the Festival. Below is a brief description of some of the duties and responsibilities;
Site coordination & maintenance
- Assist pre-opening and after closing.
- Moving of equipments as needed.
- Placement and remove of decorative items.
- Pick up garbage through out the day and after closing.
- Maintain 2 astro jumps for children’s activities.
- Maintain food tent and VIP reception booth.
- Direct traffic at 3 barricades

Skills & Experience required
- Physically fit, able to move around quickly if needed.
- Can speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin
- Must be willing to do any thing as assigned

- CCMA tent, food tent, astro jump site & general ground on 2nd Ave. S.E., 3rd Ave. & 1st St. S.E. Click here...

Time From: 6:00am - 9:00pm

The more the better and merrier!
Reimbursement & Benefits
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner as appropriate
- Volunteer’s package as available.

Additional Information(Type of clothing or footwear required, age requirement, heavy lifting involved? Lots of standing or walking involved? Etc.)
- Wear comfortable shoes
- Physically well, when working at the food tent, need to lift and carry food from different locations.
- Lots of standing, bending and walking
- For the astro jump workers, need to help children on and off the jump which is physically demanding.
- For directing of traffic, must be at the post all day long.
