A Fundraiser to launch for the recent disasters in Indonesia

Due to the recent disasters – the typhoon, floods and earthquakes that occurred in Indonesia. A group of people from the Chinese community will come to share their compassion, and help the Canadian Indonesian Social Club, to run a fundraising event on Saturday October 31, 2009, at the Crossroad Mayland Heights Community Center, which is located at 1803 - 14th Avenue NE, from 12.00 noon to 3.00 PM.

Khin Chew, one of the voluntary helpers with the sound system, invites the public go to support and visit the event, and purchase fundraising tickets to taste the authentic Indonesian cuisines, which are similar to Brunei/Malaysian and Singaporean food, also enjoy the songs and dances of West Sumatra at the same time. Ticket price is $5.00 per person (3 years old and up). 

 “Please make an effort to come and support this event.” Chew said.
