A Cultural Performance to celebrate PRC 60th Anniversary

This year on October 1st will be the 60th Anniversary of the People’s Republic of China. There will be a gigantic parade that will occur in the capital city Beijing; and the entire country will have lots celebrations. Overseas, most of the Chinese communities will also hold vary celebrations for this particular event.
The local Chinese community held a cultural performance on last Tuesday evening (September 22) at Jack Singer Concert Hall. This was the first part program of the celebrations.

The second part of the celebration will be held on Saturday, September 27th at 11:00am. The community will hold a parade in Chinatown to celebrate this special occasion. The parade will surround the entire area of Chinatown; there will have lots of performances such as lion dancing and other traditional dances. The starting point of the parade is in front of the building on 3rd Avenue S.E. The public is cordially invited to Chinatown to have a good time in this unusual occasion.
Besides, the present Chinese settlement –Chinatown-- will be a century old next year, the community is planning to have lots of celebration for this remarkable occasion.
