President Victor Mah retired from CCCC after 22 Years of service

On Friday September 18, the Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre (CCCC) held a very special ceremony banquet to celebrate the retirement of its president Victor Mah, and the Centre’s 17th anniversary.

In the evening, the Board of Directors of the Centre accompanied Mr. Mah to unveil the plaque to honor his retirement as the leader of the Centre, after his twenty-two years of service.

The Executive Administrator of CCCC, Samantha Yang said that a plaque presentation ceremony is in honor of Mr. Mah for his extraordinary contributions to the Centre over two decades.


The Board of Directors of CCCC accompanied Victor Mah to unveil the plaque to honor his retirement.

The VIP guests attended the special occasion were included the former and present three levels government representatives, the Deputy Consul-General with two consuls of the People’s Republic of China in Calgary, Chinatown associations leaders and representatives, and hundreds of the Centre’s volunteers also attended the banquet. Lots of entertainment followed after the ceremony.
