2009 Calgary Chinatown Open Table Tennis Championships Tournament

The 2009 Calgary Chinatown Open Table Tennis Championships Tournament was held on Saturday, September 5, from 9:30 am to 6:30pm; and Sunday, September 6 from 9 am to 4pm, at the Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre.

Organizer Joseph Chan said the annual event was organized by: Alberta Table Tennis Association (ATTA). The primary goal of their organization is to support and promote the sport of table tennis in Alberta and Canada. Participants’ age ranges are vary, they are included boys and girls under 11 of ages, women and men’s ages over 60. All their tournaments are open to public and everyone is welcome to play table tennis or watch on the side.
Another organizer, Carton Lao, also mentioned the next tournament 2009 Sunlife Calgary Open Table Tennis Championships will be held on October 17-18.
